The optional Flash Confirmation sensor is another exclusive
feature of the PocketWizard MultiMAX Transceiver. Both
flash and radio confirmation simultaneously are confirmed
and displayed on both the MultiMAX (set for RECEIVE
mode) and the MultiMAX (set for TRANSMIT mode)
When using the optional Flash Confirmation Sensor,
the MultiMAX (set for TRANSMIT mode) automatically receives a visual and audible confirmation signal, indicating
that a triggered flash fired, reassuring the photographer
that everything is working from the camera position.

| Use the equipment setup from the Quad-Triggering
illustration. |

| On the MultiMAX's (set for RECEIVE mode)
connect the flash synch cable to FLASH/PORT 2. |
| |
| Now plug the Flash Confirmation Sensor cable
into CAMERA/PORT 1 and position the sensor, so that it
is in the path of the flash (see the included directions
for suggested sensor positioning). |

Press the TEST
button on the MultiMAX (set for TRANSMIT mode).
If a small flash symbol appears in the upper right hand
corner of the zone triggered, than the flash has fired. |
| |
If the flash
symbol is inverted, then the flash did not fire.
In this example, both radio and flash confirmation
have failed on zone A.
