Intervalometer

Because some events take a long period of time, photographing them as they unfold can be a real challenge, especially when you can't be there. In intervalometer mode (Time-Lapse Photograph), you can select the desired number of exposures, (up to 10,000) and time between exposures (up to 17 hours 46 minutes) with just a few key strokes.

At right this is performed with a MultiMAX (set for RECEIVE mode). In TRANSMIT mode the MultiMAX does not transmit radio pulses for each Intervalometer trigger due to FCC regulations.

On a MultiMAX (set for RECEIVE mode), press the Menu button.

Press A to enter the ADVANCED MENU.

Press B to enter the INTERVALOMETER menu.

Press the up or down arrow button to select the time  between triggers.

For faster adjustment, select each digit individually by pressing A B C or D keys directly below the digit, then using the up and down key to set the value.

Press the MENU button to enter the value and move to the COUNTER screen.

Press the up or down arrow button to select the number of exposures between triggers.

For faster adjustment, select each digit individually by pressing A B C or D keys directly below the digit, then using the up and down key to set the value.

The time between each trigger will be displayed as a number after "INTERVAL".

The remaining amount of triggers is displayed after "COUNT" and this number will count from the selected number of "exposures" down to zero.

Connect your MultiMAX to a camera via a camera motor drive cable to PORT 2 to trigger at the beginning of the first interval or PORT 1 to trigger  at the end of the first interval.

Press the TEST button to begin the intervalometer sequence.
