Triggering multiple cameras to sync with one set of
flash units can be difficult, but Lag Time Equalizer
mode assists the photographer in calibrating the camera,
electronic flash unit or both for simultaneous triggering
and exposure synchronizing. Lag Time Equalizer mode
measures the actual time it takes from the moment the
motor driven camera is activated to the time the shutter
is open with an accuracy of 1/10,000th of a sec. When
all the delay times have been programmed, the MultiMAX
triggers the camera with the greatest delay first, so
that everything is perfectly in sync.
Lag Time Equalizer mode is perfect for synchronization
of multiple cameras with one set of flash units
or for digital proofing.
The HOW-TO at right provides directions on how to equalize
two cameras and one flash at 1/125 with three
MultiMAX (set for RECEIVE mode) For instructions on
equalizing different configurations, refer to the instruction
manual, pages 35 and 43 ~ 49.
