MultiMAX Operating Essentials

Multipop Mode

When greater depth of field is required beyond the capabilities of your flash equipment, multiple manual flash exposures become necessary. To avoid the inconsistencies of manual triggering your flash units, the MultiPop mode provides up to 10,000 unattended multiple flash exposures. The MultiMAX automatically triggers your flash unit/s for the desired number of exposures, and then it will wait for the required flash recycling time (user settable), from 1/100th sec. to 10 minutes.

As shown at the right this is performed with a MultiMAX (set for RECEIVE mode) for standalone multiple flash exposure operation. You may also use a MultiMAX (set for TRANSMIT mode), but it will only trigger (in MultiPop mode) the local flash connected to the MultiMAX. It will not transmit any radio triggering signals to remote Receivers for wireless MultiPops.

(Follow the instructions at right and select TRANSMIT instead of RECEIVE and connect the unit to the flash you would like to trigger.)

NOTE: The maximum limits for MultiPop are 10,000 pops, between 1/100 second to 10 minutes 40 seconds apart.
