MultiMAX Operating Essentials

True Trigger Confirmation

Because the MultiMAX is a Transceiver it automatically confirms if the Transmitter sent a signal and if the Receivers have accepted the signal. In Transmitter mode, radio confirmation status is indicated on the MultiMAX display panel, from up to 1600 feet away or more on all four Quad-Triggering zones. Visual and audible feedback from the MultiMAX (set to TRANSMIT mode) assures confirmation status.

Finally there is a system that lets you know that your remote triggering system is working on the spot, avoiding costly and embarrassing re-shoots.

The MultiMAX is the only Digital Radio Triggering System that offers Radio confirmation on all four Quad-Triggering zones.

Note: Radio confirmations is only available on channels 17-32. Radio confirmation is active for one flash unit per zone.

With the same setup as Quad- Triggering, press the TEST button on the MultiMAX (set to TRANSMIT).

Any zone letter that appears on the screen as a normal letter is confirmed to have received a radio signal.

Any zone letter that appears as an inverted letter on the screen failed to receive a signal, or there is no MultiMAX (set to RECEIVE mode) on that channel and zone.

See the example at right: zones A & D correctly received a signal and triggered. Zone B did not. Zone C shows Flash Confirmation. To learn more about Flash Confirmation, click NEXT below.

In addition, a long audible warning will sound if any zone does not confirm. A short beep indicates no errors.
