During the WPPI show in Las Vegas, Charles spent part of the day shooting with the new MiniTT1 Transmitter and FlexTT5 Transceiver. View the video below and hear what Charles had to say about the MiniTT1 and FlexTT5.  Scroll below the video to read about how he set the shots up.

Setup 1:

One Profoto Pro-B2 with Softlight White Beauty Reflector and honeycomb grid metered with Sekonic L-758DR. One Canon 580 EXII Flash (E-TTL) with PocketWizard FlexTT5 hand-held and CPE3 Canon battery pack. Canon 5D Mark II, 70-200 2.8IS (f/16 with the Pro 2-B | at F4 with the E-TTL) with PocketWizard MiniTT1.  ETTL channel 18, Classic Channel 3.

"I wanted to take advantage of the strong reflected light bouncing off the mirrored windows from the hotel behind the model for their clean, crisp edge-light and shadows. My main light was the Softlight with the grid and using PocketWizard’s HyperSync, I was able to shoot at 1/320 sec to darken the background further. " - Charles Maring

"The flexibility of being able to shoot with TTL flash in broad daylight and know it’s always going to trigger allows me even more creative flexibility – regardless of lens or distance." - Charles Maring
