Go on set with Bry Cox and see in detail how he uses the PocketWizard MiniTT1 and FlexTT5 for Nikon to overpower the sun and create some fantastic portrait photographs.
“One of the great things I like about the new mini and flex system is that I don’t have to bring a whole bunch of gear. Normally I’d have to bring a leaf shutter and studio gear to really overpower the sun but with this I can keep my nice, simple set up, no need even for a commander flash, just put the mini on, [then] the flex, shoot at really whatever shutter speed you want to completely overpower the sun, and just really have a ball being creative and creating some fantastic photographs.”
Bry Cox has a hip and untraditional style that has been a hit with young brides and families, as well as musicians, filmmakers, celebrities and TV anchors. His images are used by Capitol Records, Billboard magazine, TV Guide, Studio Photography, and the cover of American Photo magazine.
He has photographed Olivia Newton-John, Natalie Cole, Steve Forbes, Donny and Marie Osmond, Olympic Gold Medalist Rulon Gardner, and regularly covers events for past and present governors of Utah.
Bryan Cox has a Bachelors of Science in Business. His workshops are a good combination of business principals juxtaposed against the creative aspects of a successful artist.
