PocketWizard Announces the PowerMC2 for Einstein
PocketWizard continues its move into the studio flash arena with the announcement of the PowerMC2 Receiver module for the Paul C. Buff Einstein 640 Studio Flash. The PowerMC2 Receiver enables photographers to remotely set power levels and control the modeling light from the camera when paired with an on-camera MiniTT1™ or FlexTT5™ PocketWizard ControlTL™ radio. With the PocketWizard AC3 ZoneController in the system users will have three zones of independent power control capability.
Working in cooperation with Paul C. Buff on the development of the PowerMC2 has allowed PocketWizard to incorporate features such as receiver channel setting from the LCD screen on the flash. The PowerMC2 is part of the ControlTL system and will work seamless with other ControlTL radios and accessories. In addition to power control, photographers can take full advantage of other ControlTL features including HyperSync™, Rear Curtain Sync and PowerTracking. The PowerMC2 will be USB upgradeable and reverse compatible with any other PocketWizard radio.
The PowerMC2 will be sold through Paul C. Buff and will be available February, 2011.
