CM-E3

Standard Remote Cable

For connecting a Plus II or MultiMAX with no ACC port to a Canon E3 or sub miniphone (3/32" or 2.5 mm) remote shutter release terminal.

Cable length: 3' (91.5 cm)

From: 1/8" (3.5 mm) mono miniphone
To: Canon E3 remote terminal

International Catalog Number: CM-E3
US Catalog Number:
804-509

PocketWizard Compatibility:

·  Plus II
·  MultiMAX with no ACC port
·  For PlusX, Plus III, MultiMAX with ACC port, or FlexTT5 radios, we recommend using the CM-E3-ACC.

Description:  This cable connects your radio to your camera’s remote terminal to enable remote camera triggering.  This standard cable works with most PocketWizard radios but has no half-press control, and is for basic remote triggering only.

A Pre-Release or Pre-Trigger (–P) CM-E3-P cable works with most PocketWizard radios.  This pre-trigger cable has a switch that allows you to toggle half-press on or off at the camera position, but not remotely.  (Using a CM-E3-ACC cable with a PTMM Adapter will provide the same function as a CM-E3-P cable.)

A -ACC (CM-E3-ACC) cable allows a compatible PocketWizard radio to independently control both half-press and full-press functions, as well as relay E-TTL signals to compatible flashes when using FlexTT5s.  (Using a CM-E3-ACC cable with a MSMM Adapter will provide the same function as a CM-E3 cable.)

All cables are now packaged in a environmental friendly cardboard box with rececyled white labels showing both ends of the cable as well as compatibility list. This replaces our old packaging of a zipped bag packaging.

Compatible with the following radios:

Plus II:  Use this cable to remotely fire your camera.

Plus III:  This cable can remotely fire your camera but it has no half-press control.  Use a CM-E3-ACC cable for best results.

FlexTT5: This cable can be used to remotely fire your camera, like a CM-E3–P cable or CM-E3 Standard Cable with a FlexTT5, but your remote camera will not be able to relay an E-TTL signal to Speedlites.  Use a CM-E3–ACC cable for best results.  Learn more here

MultiMAX with no –ACC port:  Use this cable to remotely fire your camera.

MultiMAX with –ACC port: This cable can remotely fire your camera but it has no half-press control.  Use a CM-E3-ACC cable for best results
