Using a remote camera lets you explore creativity and expand photographic coverage in unique ways. On location, remote cameras can be where you physically can't. Get shots no one else can by firing a remote camera at the same time you fire your main body. Two images, two perspectives, one photographer! In the studio, get out from behind the lens and really connect with your subjects.

Here's where you can find cables that enable you to fire a remote camera.

ACC Cables (-ACC models) are a special kind of Pre-Trigger cable for use with the PlusX, Plus III, FlexTT5 and MultiMAX with -ACC port.  Toggle Pre-Trigger on and off remotely with the MultiMAX.  Required for remote camera triggering with a FlexTT5 if using E-TTL functions.  Also for PlusX (trigger only). As of July/August 2013, all -ACC cables are now shipped with an MSMM Adapter (stereo to mono miniphone adapter) which converts a -ACC cable to a Standard Cable.

NOTE: A Standard (mono) remote camera cable and/or -P Pre-Trigger cable can be used instead of a -ACC cable with a FlexTT5, but you will not have TTL capability

Remote shutter release cables are available in both 3' (1m) and 1' (30 cm) lengths.  Images not to scale. Don't know which connector fits your camera?  Try the Cable Finder.

Standard Cables
connect your camera to any PocketWizard radio.

Pre-Trigger Cables
(-P models): As of July 2013, we've started shipping Pre-Trigger Mono Miniphone (PTMM) Adapters in place of Pre-Trigger (-P) cables.  The PTMM Adapter works with any -ACC cable to convert it from a -ACC cable to a Pre-Trigger (-P) cable and has a switch for Normal or Pre-Trigger mode.  Pre-Trigger keeps the camera "awake" - just like pressing the camera's shutter release halfway continuously.  The camera responds more quickly and consistently (but uses batteries more rapidly).
